De musical als geheel is erg leuk en als je je grenzen niet te hoog legt zorgt het voor een leuk avondje uit. De muziek neemt je mee naar de hits van Boney M.Het geluid in het Luxortheater laat helemaal veel ten wensen over. Op het moment dat er gesproken wordt, zit er een galm op. Hierdoor komt het spel voor mij niet lekker over.
Wat ik persoonlijk een beetje jammer vind is dat het voor mij niet een mooi geheel is. Op het moment dat de drie meiden van Daddy Cool Vocal op een rijtje staan, ik dit niet als een groepje zie. De timing en de bewegingen zelf zijn niet gelijk. Ook op het moment dat de cast met z’n alle aan het dansen is zie ik de kwaliteit van de spelers, maar als totaalplaatje klopt het voor mijn gevoel niet.Daddy Cool is ten feel-good musical welke zeker de mooite waard is om een keer te bezoeken. Op het toneel staan stuk voor stuk talenten. De één wat beter in dans, de ander is zang en weer een ander in spel.
Degene die van mij het grootste compliment ontvangt is Kim-Lian. Zij laat ook in deze musical weer zien dat zij een vakvrouw is. Haar spel, zang en dans is van hoog kwaliteit. En wie is er niet jaloers op haar figuur (na het krijgen van twee kinderen)…?
