Vandaag staat de tweede excursie op het programma: een boottocht op Li-river naar Yangshou. Eindelijk hebben we een excusie met een Chinees die voor ons uitloopt met een vlaggetje: wij zijn Pandateam!!
We varen in een prachtig landschap omringd met mooie bergen. Na het nemen van flink wat foto’s houd ik het fotograferen even voor gezien en ga op het dek lekker zitten. De zon is inmiddels ook flink haar best aan het doen, dus het is fijn vertoeven.
Na ruim vier uur komen we in Yangshou aan en kunnen we even snel inchecken in het hotel. We gaan namelijk meteen door naar onze volgende excursie.
Deze excursie bestaat uit een wandeling door een Chinees dorpje, waterbuffels eten geven en een boottochtje op een bamboevlot. Het varen op de bamboevlot is een zeer aparte en romantische ervaring. Althans, als je alleen op het water bent. De zonsondergang achter de bergen is wel een mooi natuurverschijnsel.
Na de excursie worden we weer in Yangshou afgezet en is het alweer tijd voor een diner. Als we de heerlijke pizza achter onze kiezen hebben lopen we nog even een rondje door het zeer toeristische centrum van het dorp, waarna we nog even een drankje doen op het terras.
Morgenochtend worden we al om 6.30u opgehaald om naar het vliegveld te gaan en met het gegeven dat ons bed vannacht meer richting een plank gaat dan naar een matras, gaan we toch maar op tijd slapen om wat rustuurtjes te pakken.
