Inmiddels is Edwin al vijf weken weg, wat betekent dat ik al over een kleine week naar hem toe ga. Aanstaande donderdagavond mag ik het vliegtuig in.
Momenteel bezig met de voorbereidingen voor mijn trip naar China: wassen, strijken, boenen. Maar dat is iets wat normaal gesproken ook gebeurt (ok, in iets mindere mate nu Edwin weg is…). Naast de reguliere zaken moest ik ook een visum aanvragen. Enkele weken geleden naar Chinese Visa Application Service Center geweest om het proces in gang te zetten en gister heb ik hem opgehaald: ik mag het land in!
De komende dagen nog de laatste dingetjes aanschaffen. Zo neem ik voor Edwin maar een aantal pakken stroopwafels mee. Is mijn schatje gek op.
Ik zal ruim twee weken in China verblijven. De eerste week is Edwin aan het werk, dus ga ik mij overdag alleen vermaken in Shanghai. Ik heb waarschijnlijk voor twee dagen al een ‘date’. Sowieso ga ik een dagje werken. Wij hebben namelijk een fabriek in Shanghai staan, dus daar ga ik een kijkje nemen en tevens met de financiële man even kletsen over zijn werkzaamheden.
In de tweede week gaan Edwin en ik andere delen van China bekijken. Zo gaan we naar Beijing en naar Guilin.
Uiteraard ga ik jullie weer op de hoogte houden van mijn belevenissen. Alvast veel leesplezier!
